Is it better to be dead or undead? I guess it is how you think about it. Consider both sides of it and see for yourself what it would be like! When you are among the undead you seem to have no need for sleep and so that can really be useful. There is also the abundance of power and strength that we would love to have as a human.
Being undead means you don’t have to worry about taking a shower or body odor in any way. You don’t have to get out of bed and worry about your hair or your makeup. The worse you look the better. Plus, a lack of communication seems to be just fine among them. You won’t have to worry about coming up with something to have a conversation about!
Is it better to be dead or undead?
The idea of being a Zombie, a Vampire or other creature does seem exciting to some. Yet the idea of living for thousands of years can seem exhausting. I guess it would all come down to how good the quality of your life happened to be. Some of the stories and legends about Vampires certainly shows that they have been involved in politics and other important roles throughout their existence so that could be an exciting life adventure.
The chance to reinvent yourself again and again is a great option too. If you get bored with what you are doing you can change it up. If you plan on living forever then you have to be glad you are among the undead. You also want to consider what you would do if you were dead. If you feel that there is an adventure waiting for you then that could be your choice over the undead.
When you are dead there is plenty of uncertainty. Some people believe that the body is all that remains and it doesn’t do anything. Others feel that the soul lives on and so they do want to be dead. They don’t like they idea of being the undead where their soul can’t be restful at all. They don’t want to be involved with a method of survival that will cause any type harm to others.
Religion often plays a role in it for people that would rather be dead. They feel they would rather be known for a wonderful existence on Earth and then to be gone. They don’t want to be contributing to evil or pain for those that are still alive.
